Calling local businesses! Tell us about changes to your operations and how Cowichan can support you
We’re tracking local business updates to help connect the community to needed goods and services during the coronavirus pandemic.
This is a difficult time for a lot of people, including the local business community and the people who rely on it. At The Discourse Cowichan, we want to help.
That’s why we’ve decided to build a #SupportLocal directory for the Cowichan region. It will bring all of the information we can gather about small, local business into one place. Are they open? What services are they still offering? How can community members support them, while staying safe? This is where Cowichan Valley residents will come for answers. We’ll put businesses on a searchable map, so people can find essential goods and services close to home.
So, if you are a small, local business we want to hear from you. Fill out the survey below and, after reviewing, we’ll add your information. If you have questions or would like to connect by phone, email firstname.lastname@example.org with your contact information and we will give you a call back.
Are you a small, local business? Tell us below how your services are changing over this time.

The Cowichan Valley deserves news that helps us build a more inclusive and sustainable community.
The Discourse Cowichan relies on readers to fund our journalism, not advertising. That means we can focus on telling stories other media ignore, instead of chasing clicks. We invite people with different perspectives to join the conversation, so we’re not just preaching to the choir. Your support helps connect diverse people in our community.
