Video: The garbage volunteers are clearing from Canada’s shores
Zoe Jordan began clearing debris from the beaches near Tofino and Ucluelet when she moved to the region in 2004 to take an apprenticeship at a local hotel.
There are more than 5.25 trillion pieces of plastic in the ocean and some of the debris is washing up on Canada’s shores. This video shows what volunteers from coast to coast are cleaning up.[end]
