  • March 17 to May 30: 🖼️ A Progressive Identity is showing at the Cowichan Public Art Gallery featuring the work of local Métis and Black painter Robert Burke.
  • March 27 and 29: 🎞️ The HUB Film Club hosts an in-person screening of Agent of Happiness and an online screening of Orwell 2+2=5.
  • Saturday, March 28, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: 🐇 Find the perfect Easter gift at the Lake Cowichan Easter Craft Fair at Centennial Hall.
  • Saturday, March 28, 7:30 p.m.: 🎵 Conductor Chrsitian Kluxen, Andreas Brantelid and the Victoria Symphony play the Cowichan Performing Arts Centre.
  • Saturday, March 29, 7 p.m.: 🎻 Enjoy an evening of Celtic music at OUR Ecovillage in Shawnigan Lake featuring Pierre Schryer, Danielle Enblom and Adam Dobres.
  • Sunday, March 29, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: 🌱 Cowichan Green Community hosts the 17th annual Seedy Sunday at Si’em Lelum Gym. Folk artists Huckleberry Holler will perform music for marketgoers. 
  • Sunday, March 29, 6 p.m.: ⭕ Learn the basics of hula hoop with a beginner class by donation at the HUB at Cowichan Station. To register or for more information, email thehulahoophouse@outlook.com
  • Saturday, April 4, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: 🚂 The Easter Eggspress returns to the BC Forest Discovery Centre. Admission is $8 for children and $14 for adults.
  • Saturday, April 4, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: 🎁 The Ladysmith Makers Market returns with a bevy of local artisans.
  • Saturday, April 4, noon to 3 p.m.: 🥚 Hunt for easter eggs in the displays at the Cowichan Valley Museum. 
  • Tuesday, April 7, 7 p.m.: 🇯🇲 Master storyteller Jan Blake shares myths and tales that connect to her Jamaican roots. Tickets are $25. 
  • April 10 to 11: 🪴 Get your garden started this spring with some plants from the Chemainus Theatre Festival Plant Sale.
  • April 10 to 12: ⛺ The Vancouver Island Outdoor Show takes over the Cowichan Exhibition grounds.
