You're invited to Finding Home: A Story Circle
Join The Discourse Cowichan for this experiment in deep listening and community connection.
The Discourse Cowichan is hosting an event on the theme of finding home in the Cowichan Valley, and we would love you to be part of it. It’s called a story circle. The idea is to bring together a diverse group of people to share personal stories of housing and home in a guided conversation. We’ll listen first, then create action items towards healthier, more connected communities.
When: Saturday, November 30th
Where: Nitinat Room, Cowichan Community Centre, 2687 James Street, Duncan
When: 11:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
A light lunch will be served.
Space is limited. Please let us know if you can join us:
The Cowichan Valley deserves news that helps us build a more inclusive and sustainable community.
The Discourse Cowichan relies on readers to fund our journalism, not advertising. That means we can focus on telling stories other media ignore, instead of chasing clicks. We invite people with different perspectives to join the conversation, so we’re not just preaching to the choir. Your support helps connect diverse people in our community.
